E-BOOK & DOWNLOADING INSTRUCTIONS
Purchasing the Correct Format: Generally, the ePub can be used on iPads, Nooks, and personal computers, whereas Mobi or prc files can be used on Kindles and personal computers. Please consult the company that manufactured the reading device to determine which version to purchase.
Downloading To E-Reader. Please follow instructions provided by the manufacturer of your e-reader. Barcelona Publishers cannot provide information on how to use your e-reader. To ensure that you do not miss or accidentally bypass the download prompt, it is best to register on the Barcelona website, which will give you access to your account and another opportunity to download.
Multimedia Files: Some of our ebooks contain multimedia files such as audio and video files. However, due to compatibility issues, they are not playable on a PC or MAC. Thus, you must have an appropriate e-reader (iPad, Color nook) to access the audio and video files embedded in our multimedia e-books. Kindle readers are currently not compatible, but are expected to support multimedia e-books in the near future. Please check with your device manufacturer for further details.
Downloading To Computer:
1) Register on the Barcelona website to ensure against losing the download.
2) After payment, click the big red “download” link on the shopping cart site. Then when prompted, click “SAVE AS” and place the download where you want on your computer. If you click “Save”, it will probably go directly to your “Download” folder rather than to your Documents. Once you find the downloaded file you must download the free software needed to open it.
3) To open ePub , you must first download the free software from Adobe Digital Editions.

Once you have downloaded the software, you can click any ePub and then open or save the file.
4) To open Mobi on your computer, you have to download the Kindle software.

Once you have downloaded the software, you can click any ePub and then open or save the file.
5) If you make a mistake during the download process, go to your Barcelona account, and view your order.
